The Elementary Reading and Math After School Program is intended to give students supplemental supports and an extra boost in the areas of reading or math. 

 

Applicants must possess an active Elementary/Mid-Level Teaching Certification. We are seeking one teacher for 4th grade at Blue Bell Elementary School. The rate of pay is $46.87 per hour.  

 

Sessions will be held for one hour (3:35-4:35pm) twice per week (Tues & Thurs); students who are in the program are expected to attend both days. Grade level group size is 15 students or less and student invitations will be based on data decisions at the school level. There are 30 minutes per week of paid planning time.

 

The program will run for 17 weeks and will be broken into two sessions beginning in November and running through April. See specific time frames below.

• Session 1: November 10th – January 21st, 16 sessions
  • Program will not run during the week of 11/23 due to conferences and Thanksgiving break.
  • Program will not run during the week of 12/21 due to Winter break.

• Session 2: February 2nd – April 15th, 17 sessions
  • Program will not run on Thursday, 2/11 and Tuesday, 3/2 and 3/4 due to early dismissal and conferences.
